A specialized technique of physiotherapy treatment delivered with the hands as opposed to a device or machine.
Through myofascial release (one of the techniques in manual therapy), therapists use their hands to apply pressure on muscle tissues to alleviate the pain which is caused by muscle tension, spasm or cramp.
Manual therapy is also helpful in treating conditions such as

- gastric, indigestion, bloated stomach
